Mobile, Desktop, Laptop, handheld or console | Which gaming platform is ideal for you?

Miscellaneous gaming platforms

How many times have you been stuck in a debate with yourself to decide which platform to buy? Of course more than you can remember! I am here to help you out with your decision by providing some pointers;

Mobile:

If you're looking to play once in a while or all the time. Mobile suits all your needs. Doesn't require any specialised controller, fits in your pocket and delivers great performance. But what is it you can do with a mobile that you cannot do with any other platform. Mobile certainly has it's limitations.

Handheld:

The connecting link between mobiles and consoles are the handhelds. Right as of now there aren't many great handhelds to recommend. Most are probably off-brand. Handheld consoles are great for starter professional gaming when you don't have much space. They're portable, multiplayer, can run myriad of games without any problems. They are the perfect if you're a beginner with not a lot of budget.

Consoles:

The only argument more heated than Star Wars or Star Trek is PlayStation or Xbox. Of course Nintendo is doing a great job in the gaming console market but there two will always be rivals, considering how they are released around the same time. Consoles are the next step after handhelds which you can play on your couch with your television. Consoles offer numerous exclusive games, 4k and VR support and of course the iconic controllers. Which controller do you prefer? Xbox style or PlayStation style? (Tell me in the comments).

Laptop and Desktop (PC):

Often regarded as the master race, PC is the most common gaming platform not only because it can be used for tasks other than gaming but for the upgradability.  Like consoles, PC also offers exclusive games, you can have an entire cave/den just glowing with RGB or you can have a portable companion in your bag also glowing with RGB. The main focus of gaming PCs is to give maximum performance with maximum quality with maximum player experience, and you don't have to rob a bank unless you want to!

My Personal Opinion

Having tried all of the options myself, I can decide what I want for myself. Of course I can't say the same for you readers but I can give you a comparison of player experience.

In my opinion, consoles are the best-but-can-be-better option. You don't have to break a bank, you don't have to carry it around, and you get a controller. Of course a controller can be used with PC as well but that point does not outweigh the others. So if you've got the money, I suggest console.

Just to be clear, this blog is not sponsored but here are some of the pics in each category:

Desktop

Well, you can either buy pre-built PC setups or build your own. I have not much knowledge about pre-built but recommend building your own as it is more convenient and rewarding process. i9 and Ryzen 7 are for the best performance.

With that to conclude, I hope you now have a clearer thinking on what to purchase. Don't forget me while you're buying,

Mention in the comments what you own or intend to purchase and follow for more guides to make your gaming experience the best!
Good game to you!

  1. As for me the most comfortable mode is desktop and mobile and my favourite game is contra and super mario are used to play this game a lot but now the fashion has been changed the games like valorant and other games are coming but they don't have the fine which we use to get in playing counter at two player games and other thing games such as FIFA and Pes used to give us goosebumps.
